Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、合成法や生物学的研究が未開拓な二量体型天然物に着目し、創薬研究へと展開し得る、実用的合成法の確立を目指す。今回合成標的とするガノジラクトン類とインボルクラタストン類は、スピロ中心を骨格に含む三次元的な立体構造を有し、新奇創薬スキャフォールドとして興味深い。そこで、合成化学の視点に基づく生合成経路の推定と、量子化学計算による仮説検証を組合わせた戦略で、これら天然物の効率的かつ立体選択的な全合成法の確立を目指す。
