Outline of Research at the Start

水産有用種である”こんぶ類”のうち，マコンブとその 3 変種(ホソメコンブ，リシリコンブ，オニコンブ)は最も生産量が多く，重要度が極めて高い種である。しかしながら，この区分を支持しない研究例が存在する。そのため，本研究では，分布域を網羅するように採集し，形態解析，系統地理解析や集団遺伝解析を総合して変種の妥当性を解明する。本研究は種の応用を目指す水産学の基礎データを整備する研究課題である。
