Outline of Research at the Start

わが国農林水産分野の知的財産権（以下、知財）に関する政策方針においては、近年、知財の適切な「保護」のみならず積極的に「活用」を行うビジネスモデルの開発が重視されている。しかしながら、学術的には「活用」に関する調査や分析は乏しく、今後はより「活用」に焦点を当てた議論とその成果の実務への還元が求められている。本研究では、農業分野の代表的な知財である育成者権に焦点を当て、アクションリサーチによって、有効な知財活用法の一つと考えられるロイヤリティビジネスの構築の可能性を検討し、どのように活用すれば育成者の開発コストを回収し、持続的な品種開発環境を実現できるのかを明らかにする。
