Outline of Research at the Start	哺乳類ホスファチジルコリン特異的ホスホリパーゼC（PC-PLC)はPCを加水分解し，生理活性脂質のジアシルグリセロール（DG）を産生する。哺乳類PC-PLCは活性発見後半世紀以上，分子実体（遺伝子）が不明であった。最近，我々はDGリン酸化酵素の相互作用タンパク質中からPC-PLCを発見し，新発見のPC-PLC遺伝子の配列を指標にさらに他のPLC酵素群を発見するに至った。本研究では新発見のPLC酵素群に注目し，酵素学的性質および生理的意義の解明を試みる。
