毛乳頭細胞増殖亢進活性を有する延命草およびその主たる活性寄与成分である enmein の毛乳頭細胞増殖亢進活性におけるターゲット分子の同定等を含む詳細な作用機序の解明を行い, 既存の男性型脱毛症治療薬としてひろく用いられている 5α-レダクターゼ阻害薬の finasteride や dutasteride とは作用点が異なり男女別なく改善に寄与する素材の開発を目指す.
