Outline of Research at the Start

間質性肺炎（IP）関連肺腺癌の特性についての研究において、その多くがHNF4α陽性/TTF1陰性の粘液癌型形質を示すことを明らかにした。HNF4αは消化管上皮への分化を支持する転写因子であるが、気管支上皮にも低頻度(0.1％程)に陽性細胞が出現する。このようなHNF4α陽性細胞の特性を明らかにし、IP関連肺腺癌の前駆細胞として可能性を追求する。
