Outline of Research at the Start

小腸GISTは胃GISTに比べて遠隔転移や再発のリスクが高いが、どのような機序で小腸GISTが胃GISTよりも予後不良なのかは不明である。以前、小腸GISTはギャップ結合蛋白であるコネキシン43 (Cx43)を高発現するのに対して、胃GISTはほとんど発現しないことが報告された。本研究課題の目的は、小腸GISTに特異的に発現するCx43が予後不良因子であることを明らかにすることである。さらに、Cx43を特異的に阻害する抗体を作製して抗体薬物複合体 (ADC)を合成し、このADCがモデルマウスの小腸GISTを阻止するかを検討する。
