Outline of Research at the Start

単純ヘルペスウイルス(HSV)は、ヒトに脳炎、口唇ヘルペス、皮膚疾患、性器ヘルペスといった多様な病態を引き起こす、医学上極めて重要なウイルスの1つである。HSV感染細胞では、様々な細胞内因子の再配置が引き起こされ、ウイルス増殖に有利な細胞内環境が構築される。しかしながら、HSV感染により、タンパク質よりもさらに極小の因子の動態が変化し、ウイルス増殖に寄与するのかは、ほとんど解析されていない。本申請課題では、HSV感染における極小因子の動態変化とその意義解明を試みる。
