Outline of Research at the Start

胸腺腫瘍の一部の症例では重症筋無力症を併発する。胸腺腫を伴わない重症筋無力症と比較して、胸腺腫を合併した重症筋無力症の症例では、重症度が高く予後不良である。一方で、胸腺腫合併重症筋無力症に有用なバイオマーカーは、未だない。

本研究開発では、過去に例を見ない多数の症例を対象に、高感度な探索的プロテオーム解析を実施し、胸腺腫合併重症筋無力症に特徴的で病態に関わる主なタンパク質を同定する。
