Outline of Research at the Start

「あがり」とは、高い心理的プレッシャーの下でパフォーマンスが低下する現象を指す。あがりが生じると個人の能力を最大限発揮できなくなるため、この現象は対処すべき重要な問題とされている。しかし、あがりのメカニズムやその神経基盤は未だ解明されていない。近年の研究は、予測符号化という脳の仕組みの異常によって、あがりのメカニズムが説明できるという仮説を提案した。予測符号化は、脳が予測と実際の感覚入力を組み合わせて外界を理解するプロセスである。本研究では、fMRIを用いた実験研究により、予測符号化の異常が、あがりのメカニズムを包括的に説明可能である可能性を検討する。
