Outline of Research at the Start

本研究課題で、１）加齢関連線維性疾患(A-FiD)の疾患概念の確立、２）分泌型線維化促進分子(PCPE-1)のA-FiDバイオマーカーとしての確立、３）A-FiDを標的とした臓器・疾患横断的治療法の開発、に挑む。A-FiDは拡張不全型心不全(HFpEF)、慢性腎障害(CKD)、心房細動、非アルコール性脂肪性肝炎(NASH)など、加齢や肥満・糖尿病と共に罹患率が増加し組織の線維化が中心的病態を形成する疾患、と新しく定義する。老化や肥満に伴い血液中で上昇し、心臓や肝臓の線維化を促進する分泌型線維化促進分子PCPE-1を標的としたA-FiD治療法の開発を目指す。
