Outline of Research at the Start	超高齢化を迎える本邦においては、今後さらなる慢性便秘症罹患者数増加が推測され、便秘治療の発展は臨床上の重要課題である。そのような中、近年様々な便秘薬（上皮機能変容薬・胆汁酸トランスポーター阻害薬・浸透圧性下剤）が登場し、急速な展開を見せている。しかし、各薬剤の効果発現は患者毎に大きく異なり、その傾向も不明であるため治療に難渋することが多々ある。本研究の目的は、終末回腸で便秘薬の効果発現に関与する蛋白を測定することにより、その個人差と便秘薬の効果発現強度との相関を解析することである。
