Outline of Research at the Start

グルテン不耐症の実態は不明な点が多く、診断基準も未だ確立されていない。グルテン不耐症の診断基準を確立するためには、様々な客観的指標を組み合わせる必要があると考えられる。本研究課題では、グルテン不耐症患者を対象に、グルテン感受性、腸管粘膜バリア、炎症などの観点から様々な血清学的マーカーを用いて客観的な評価を行い、臨床的背景との関連を明らかにし、診断基準を確立させる。次いでグルテンフリー食による症状、血清学的マーカーの変化を調べ、治療有効性を評価する。グルテン不耐症の客観的指標を含めた 診断基準、治療法が確立すれば、早期に診断し適切な治療につなげることができる。
