Outline of Research at the Start	中枢神経や末梢の様々な疼痛部位に高発現しているSigma-1受容体(S1R)を全身的に可視化するPositron Emission Tomography(PET)技術が、慢性疼痛患者の痛みの発生源の特定にいかに寄与するかを明らかにする。具体的には、S1Rに特異的に結合するPET製剤([18F]FTC-146)を導入し、一体型PET/MRI装置を組み合わせた新たな画像診断法である[18F]FTC-146 PET/MRIが、従来の画像検査(レントゲン、CT、MRI)では診断が困難な慢性疼痛の発生源を客観的に画像化できるかを評価し、その診断能と臨床的有用性について詳細な検証を行う。
