Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では頭頸部がんの微小環境における,腫瘍微小環境内三次リンパ組織様構造 (TLS: tertiary lymphoid structures)に着目する.生検組織や手術サンプルから取得した病理画像でTLS を観察して、医用画像のRadiomics 解析の表現型とTLS の密度や分布との関連性を調査することで、がん免疫療法を含めた集学的治療を基盤とした治療効果の向上や治療抵抗性頭頸部癌への腫瘍免疫応答に対応した治療レジメン選択基準となることを目指す。
将来的な発展として、一部のサンプルから得るゲノム情報から得られた免疫細胞の情報を加えて、がんの免疫療法抵抗性の有無についての画像診断の役割を明らかにする。
