Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、多発性硬化症(MS)などの脱髄疾患の診断および経過観察に有用な新しいmyelin imagingの手法を確立することを目的とする。Synthetic MRIによるmyelin mapと従来のmyelin imaging手法との比較検証を行い、最適な撮像法を同定する。また、MSにおけるmyelin mapの経時的変化と臨床経過との関連を明らかにし、MSの診断・経過観察に役立つイメージングバイオマーカーを創出する。本研究により、MSなどの脱髄疾患の病態解明と治療法開発に貢献することが期待される。
