Outline of Research at the Start

フィブリノゲン（Fbg）の遺伝性疾患である先天性Fbg異常症において、肝細胞の小胞体に変異Fbgが蓄積して肝細胞障害を惹き起こすFbg蓄積病（FSD）の発症が近年報告されている。小児における肝硬変発症例も報告されており、その病態解明と治療薬・予防薬の開発は解決すべき重要な課題である。本研究では、Fbg特有の機能であるフィブリン重合反応に着目して、FSDを発症する変異Fbgのフィブリン重合異常を詳細に解析し、FSDの病態解明を試みる。
