Outline of Research at the Start	研究者は、慢性肝炎患者と肝線維化モデルマウスを用いたリピドミクス解析から、線維化肝でエポキシエイコサトリエン酸(EET)代謝異常が生じていることを発見した。具体的には、線維化肝で代謝酵素ミクロゾームエポキシドヒドロラーゼ(mEH)の発現の上昇と肝EETの低下がみられること、及びin vitroでEETに抗線維化作用があることを特定した。本研究では、mEH遺伝子欠損マウスや細胞培養株を用いてEET代謝異常に着目した肝線維化メカニズムの解明と肝線維化治療薬の開発を目指す。
