Outline of Research at the Start

免疫関連有害事象 (irAE) の一つである大腸炎は、生命予後を縮める重大な問題であり、そ の予防策の確立が急務である。NLRP3インフラマソームは様々な原因の腸炎の形成に関与し、その下流のシグナルであるIL-1βの阻害薬は慢性炎症の抑制を介して抗腫瘍作用を示すことが知られている。本研究では、irAE大腸炎に対するNLRP3インフラマソーム/IL-1β経路の役割を明らかにし、NLRP3インフラマソーム、IL-1β阻害治療がその予防策となることを示すことを目標とする。マウスや細胞、irAE大腸炎患者の生検検体を用いて、irAE大腸炎にNLRP3インフラマソーム/IL-1βが関連するか検証する。
