Outline of Research at the Start	心不全パンデミックの約半数を占める『左室収縮能が保持された心不全(HFpEF)』は、発症や増悪の機序が不明確であり、有効な内科的治療が確立されていない。申請者は、線維芽細胞が活性化型線維芽細胞に分化した際に特異的に発現し分泌される『Human epididymis protein 4 (HE4)』に注目している。本研究では、臨床研究・基礎研究においてHFpEFの病態解明を行っていく。さらに、培養心臓線維芽細胞や内皮細胞を用いたin vitroの研究を行い、HFpEF病態における各細胞の役割やHE4の関与、さらにはHE4が関わるその詳細な機序についても明らかにしていく。
