Outline of Research at the Start

心筋炎症例において、病原体遺伝子検出技術の進歩により、様々な原因ウイルスが検出されてきた。しかしながら、心筋組織そのものからは病原性ウイルスが検出されないことが多く、また検出された症例であってもそのウイルスの病的意義が不明であることも多い。
本研究では心筋炎症例で採取された心筋検体を用いてT細胞受容体レパトア解析を実施することで、ウイルス性心筋炎における免疫機構の役割を解析する。さらに抗原データベースなどを用いた解析により、心筋炎組織においてT細胞が標的とする抗原を解明する。本研究の成果は、ウイルス性心筋炎の病態機構を解明し、心筋炎において取るべき治療方針の手がかりとなることが期待される。
