Outline of Research at the Start

糖尿病に伴う慢性的な高血糖が血管新生障害等の血管合併症を引き起こすが、病態メカニズムは十分に明らかにされていない。近年、間葉系幹細胞による再生医療が注目されており、糖尿病モデルマウスの創傷部位への幹細胞移植が検討されてきたが、幹細胞のみでは治癒効果が弱いという問題点があった。そこで本研究では、in vitro 培養中の脂肪由来幹細胞（ADSC)を予め炎症性サイトカインで刺激することで創傷治癒効果改善が期待されると考えられる細胞外小胞分泌を促し、その後患部に移植することで創傷治癒のさらなる改善を期待する。将来的に、この最適化したADSCを用いた糖尿病性創傷治癒遅延の治療法の確立を目指す。
