Outline of Research at the Start

血液内科医が血液疾患を診断する上で最も重要な検査の一つに骨髄像という項目がある。現在は臨床検査技師の専門性によって行われる検査であるが負担が大きく、効果的な教育体制の確立・検査標準化や迅速化や血球形態学の発展のためには骨髄塗抹標本のデジタル化が望ましい。そのためにはまず高倍率に拡大可能なバーチャルスライド作成が必須であり、神戸大学大学院工学研究科と新たに共同開発した顕微鏡自動撮影システムを用いてバーチャルスライド化の要素技術の開発を行う。本研究を通じて骨髄塗抹標本の観察最適部位の決定・肉眼と同等の高画質で撮影・最適画像を自動選定して結合する一連の要素技術の確立を目指す。
