Outline of Research at the Start	我々は、RSウイルス感染モデルマウスを用いて、酪酸産生菌を経口投与した際に有意に変化した特定の腸内細菌、および肺・血液・腸管組織で産生量が変化したアミノ酸、脂肪酸に注目する。それらの効果を、特に症状、サイトカインや免疫細胞の増減に注目し、その効果を判定する。さらに、特定された個々の物質、免疫細胞の効果を、ヒトの肺胞基底上皮細胞や腸管上皮細胞（特定の遺伝子の改変細胞を含む）を用いたin vitro試験で確認し、作用機序の解明を試みる。
