Outline of Research at the Start

男性乳癌は希少がんという特性上まだまだ不明な点が多い。本研究ではナショナルセンター・バイオバンクネットワーク(NCBN)の検体、ゲノムデータ、ならびに臨床情報を利用して日本人男性乳癌のバイオマーカー探索を実施する。性ホルモン濃度を測定、男性乳癌患者と非がん男性、および男性乳癌患者と女性乳癌患者を比較する。生殖細胞系列ゲノムデータを解析し、日本人男性乳癌患者のリスク因子、治療効果予測因子を明らかにする。これらから、治療標的となる新規バイオマーカーを創出する。
