Outline of Research at the Start

本研究はcStage IVB胃癌患者を対象とし、化学療法後にconversion surgeryを行う患者において、手術適応や化学療法の奏効度を非侵襲的に判断するためのctDNA測定の有用性を検討することを目的としている。本研究でctDNA測定が化学療法の奏効度を表すサロゲートマーカーであると判断される場合には、conversion surgeryを行ってもその効果に乏しい患者を選別し、不要な手術を回避できる可能性がある。
