Outline of Research at the Start

大腸癌手術、特に直腸切除術後には、縫合不全、腸閉塞、排便機能の低下、排尿障害、性機能障害、下肢の神経障害、人工肛門の造設や閉鎖を行う必要があるなど、患者のQOLの低下に配慮する必要がある。本研究により、追加切除前のctDNAでリンパ節転移の予測ができれば(ctDNA陽性→リンパ節転移陽性、ctDNA陰性→リンパ節転移陰性)、追加切除適応症例の新たな指標となり得る。
本研究の最終的な目標は、pT1局所切除後の追加切除適応症例の選定にctDNAを用いて、不要な追加切除の低減を目指すことである。
