Outline of Research at the Start

近年，膵癌の遺伝子発現に基づく分子サブタイプ分類が報告されており，化学療法に対する不応性，高肝転移率，予後不良の特徴を持つ膵癌分子サブタイプの一種であるSquamous type 膵癌（SQ膵癌）に注目し，切除不能局所進行膵癌を対象とし，(1)代表的なSQ膵癌関連遺伝子の発現を組み合わせた予測診断パネルの構築，(2)膵癌組織検体を用いた予測モデルの検証，(3)膵癌血液サンプルを用いた予測モデルの臨床応用性検証を行う．これらの結果に基づき，症例毎の適性にあった個別化治療の確立による新たな膵癌治療戦略の構築を可能にするリキッドバイオプシーの開発を目標とする．
