Outline of Research at the Start

潰瘍性大腸炎は術後に回腸嚢に非特異的炎症を生じる回腸嚢炎が20-50%に認められ、近年増加傾向にある。診断と治療評価には、常に内視鏡検査と組織検査が必要であり、有用なバイオマーカーも少ないことから、本研究では、回腸嚢炎の患者自身がスマートフォンで撮影した便の写真を用いて画像解析を行い、機械学習の諸手法を用いた画像解析により、 疾患活動性スコアの予測に有効な特徴量の抽出を行う。以上により、不要な内視鏡検査の回避やリアルタイムでの疾患活動性のモニタリ ングが可能となり、適切なタイミングでの治療薬の増減や変更の判断などの臨床応用と医療費削減につなげる。
