Outline of Research at the Start	中枢性感作は比較的新しい概念であり、中枢神経系の侵害受容ニューロンの反応性が亢進した状態を指す。整形外科領域では腰痛などの疾患との関連が報告されてきた。しかし、中年期以降に発症する手指変形性関節症に起因する疼痛と中枢性感作に関する疫学調査は世界的にみてもごく僅かな報告のみである。本研究では大規模一般住民を対象に、近年報告されたスクリーニングツールを用い、疫学的実態が不明であった手の疼痛と中枢性感作に関連する年齢、性別、有症状化する要因など従来、未解明であった事項が明らかとなる。今回得られる知見は、今後の手の疼痛と中枢性感作の基礎データとなり、病態解明、治療戦略の開発に寄与することが期待される。
