Outline of Research at the Start	子宮内膜症のホルモン療法に代わる新たな治療戦略の確立が求められている。ホルモン感受性の低下について、我々は細胞内代謝や恒常性の維持に重要な働きをするNAD代謝サイクルがプロゲステロン受容体発現を上昇させ、脱落膜化の促進を介して治療抵抗性を改善させる可能性を見出した。また鉄恒常性の重要な調節因子であるhepcidinが細胞内のROSの蓄積を介してNAD代謝サイクルを抑制することを示し、NADと鉄恒常性の関連性を明らかにした。本研究では先行研究を継続させ、NAD代謝サイクルによる治療抵抗性への影響やその調節因子・経路を明らかにすることで、新たな子宮内膜症治療戦略の分子基盤を確立させる。
