Outline of Research at the Start	リンパ節転移のある子宮癌は再発しやすい特徴をもつが、そのしくみについては解明されておらず、その解明と新たな治療法が常に求められている。リンパ節同士をつなぐリンパ管に含まれる特異的な物質が多くの悪性腫瘍でみられることから、リンパ管が新たに作られるしくみがリンパ節転移の一因であることが明らかになり、リンパ管から分泌される情報物質(細胞外小胞)の分析が、転移の解明や治療への応用につながると考えられる。本研究では子宮癌の手術時に摘出したリンパ管からリンパ管内皮細胞(リンパ管を構成する細胞)を採取し、そこから分泌される情報物質を解析することで、リンパ節転移のしくみの解明と新規治療の開拓を目的としている。
