Outline of Research at the Start	小児の閉塞性睡眠時無呼吸は心身の発達に重要な影響をもたらす疾患である。小児、重症度の基準は定められたものがいため、無呼吸低呼吸指数（AHI）を利用した便宜的な基準が使用されることが多いが、成長発達に対する全身的な影響は評価されていない。また、AHIは小児睡眠呼吸障害に特有である、無呼吸を伴わない低換気を勘案することができない指標であるため、呼吸生理の面からも病態評価・重症度評価として十分とは言い難い。身体発達と、睡眠中の呼吸・換気の状態の関連を評価し、さらに患児から採取した生体資料をもとに、総合的な重症度と関連するバイオマーカーを探索することを目的としている。
