Outline of Research at the Start

Foreign body response (FBR) is a physiological response to implanted biomaterials, and can result in fibrosis or tissue regeneration. However, the role of T- and B-cells in the FBR is not well understood. Therefore, tissue regeneration models will be used to study T- and B- cells in the FBR of biomaterials.
