Outline of Research at the Start

口唇裂・口蓋裂を有する患者の顎裂部に対する腸骨海綿骨移植は疼痛や歩行障害などをもたらし、患者にとって大きな負担となる。我々は患者の負担を軽減するため、乳歯歯髄由来間葉系幹細胞 (stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth;SHED) と表面抗原CD146に着目し、CD146+SHEDが優れた骨再生能と血管新生能を有している事を解明した。しかし、CD146 がどの様にSHEDの骨再生や血管新生能に関与しているのか詳細なメカニズムは未だ不明である。本研究はCD146がSHEDによる骨再生および血管新生機構に及ぼす影響を解明することを目的とする。
