Outline of Research at the Start

これまでに骨壁の裏打ちが無い1・2壁性骨欠損，Poorly-contained型歯周組織欠損においてDBBMが足場，スペースメイキング，およびFGF-2の担体として機能したと示唆された。そこで，骨代謝異常を伴う骨粗鬆状態の重篤な歯周組織欠損においても，DBBMが足場およびスペースメイキングの機能を担い，FGF-2の併用により歯周組織治癒を促進すると仮説を立てた。本研究では，骨粗鬆症モデルラットのpoorly-contained型歯周組織欠損において，FGF-2とDBBMの併用がどのような効果をもたらすのか，また，骨形成関連遺伝子発現や血管新生にどのように関与しているのかを検討する。
