Outline of Research at the Start	口唇裂の治療においては、瘢痕形成、口輪筋再建の困難さなどは解決すべき課題である。胎児期に細胞治療を行うことで、スカーレスヒーリングと筋組織再生が実現する可能性がある。申請者はこれまで羊水由来細胞から自律的にスフェロイドおよびオルガノイドが形成される現象について報告した。本研究では、これらを口唇に分化すると考えられる神経堤オルガノイドおよび皮筋節オルガノイドに培養し、混合したハイブリッドオルガノイドによる口唇裂の胎児再生治療法の確立を目指す。本研究の成果により、口唇裂に対する胎仔鏡を用いた胎児再生治療が実現されれば、頭蓋顔面領域の先天異常に対する治療全般に幅広い臨床応用が可能になると考えられる。
