Outline of Research at the Start

医療の進歩により、医療の目的が疾患の治癒や生存年数から、よりよく生きることをめざす社会へシフトしている。植込型左室補助人工心臓（Left Ventricular Assist Device: LVAD）装着患者が在宅で安全に生活するためには複雑なセルフケアが必要で、患者、家族ともに負担は大きくQOLに影響を与える。現在、米国でLVAD装着患者に特化したHealth-Related Quality of Life in Ventricular Assist Device (QOLVAD)の尺度の開発が進められている。本研究では日本語版QOLVADを開発し、その妥当性を検証をすることとした。
