Outline of Research at the Start

集中治療を受ける重症患者の症状緩和は、治療に伴うストレスを減らし患者予後を改善するためにも重要である。人工呼吸患者において、呼吸困難は頻度が高く耐え難い苦痛の一つであるが、その実態および適切なマネジメント方法は明らかになっていない。本研究では、①ICU患者がどの程度呼吸困難症状を有しているのか②人工呼吸中の呼吸困難のリスクファクターは何かに関する基礎データを収集し、集中治療室における症状緩和を推し進めることを目指す。研究成果をもとに適切な呼吸困難マネジメント方法を検討する予定である。
