Outline of Research at the Start

足白癬・爪白癬(以下、足部白癬)は糖尿病足潰瘍のリスク因子であり、治療・ケアを行うことが強く推奨されている。糖尿病フットケア外来では視診でのスクリーニングを実施しているが、足部白癬は他の疾患とも所見が類似するため見落としの多さが問題となっている。本研究では、足部白癬の診断にも用いられるKOH直接鏡検法を用いたスクリーニングを取り入れることで、足部白癬患者の発見と治療行動の促進を目指す。
