Outline of Research at the Start

認知症リスクの40％は予防可能とされ、国際的に認知症予防のための取り組みが推奨・推進されている。一方で、「予防」のための取り組みが認知症に対するスティグマを悪化させるのではないかという懸念が呈されている。しかし、この懸念に対する実証的研究は見当たらない。
本研究では、横断研究・介入研究により、認知症予防の取り組みが認知症のスティグマに及ぼす影響を明らかにすること、さらに、その媒介要因を特定することで影響を制御する方法を見つけ出すことを目的とする。この結果はスティグマを悪化させない予防のあり方に示唆を与え、認知症に対する「予防」と「スティグマ軽減」の両立に貢献することが期待される。
