Outline of Research at the Start

長期ケア施設入居中の高齢者の排便コントロールはしばしば困難であり、便秘ケアはウェルビーイングにかかわる重大な課題である。看護職は、入居者の状態に応じた下剤調整などの便秘ケアを主体的に実施する必要があるものの、便秘ケアの経時的な実践過程について具体的な指針がないなかで提供する便秘ケアに困難を感じていた。長期ケア施設入居者の状態に応じた効果的かつ具体的な便秘ケア方法の確立が求められている。本研究では、便秘に対するケア内容とその後の排便状況との関連を時系列データを用いて検討し、これまで顧みられなかった長期ケア施設入居中の高齢者の便秘に対する最適ケアモデルを確立することで、これらの課題の解決を目指す。
