Outline of Research at the Start

COPDは、死亡者の多くを高齢者が占めており、急速に高齢化が進む中で、その一次予防として、禁煙指導と認知率向上に向けた対策が行われている。TEPSにおいては、非喫煙者と比較し、COPD発生の増加を認め、気道狭窄の程度の指標である1秒量の年間あたりの低下率が大きく、さらに運動耐容能の指標である6分間歩行距離の低下率が大きいことが明らかにされており、TEPS に対する介入の必要性は高いと考える。本研究により、TEPSに対する運動・生活習慣指導 を中心とした多因子介入を実施することにより、COPD発症予防という呼吸ケア・リハビ リテーションの新たな観点からの治療戦略の確立に貢献できる。
