Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、認知症高齢者の緩和ケア期の症状を、①ケアに携わるすべての者が全人的に測定できる尺度（The Integrated Palliative care Outcome Scale for Dementia (以下IPOS-Dem)）の日本語版の開発とその信頼性・妥当性の評価、②IPOS-Demの臨床実装の有用性・実行可能性の検証である。IPOS-Demは英国で開発され、すべての援助職種が使用でき、その有用性が検証されている。本尺度が開発され、臨床に実装されることで専門資格を問わず、ケア提供者が共通の指標で全人的に症状を評価することができ、認知症高齢者のケアの質の改善につながる。
