Outline of Research at the Start

日本では少子高齢化の進展に伴う介護人材不足が深刻であり、2008年より国外から介護人
材の受け入れ制度が創設されている。外国籍介護人材は経験を積むことにより日本人職員を上回るケアがある。一方で、利用者の生活や症状を個別に判断して対応するケアは、受け入れ施設の指導者の支援を受けながら遂行している。指導者は利用者を取り巻く社会・文化的背景を外国籍介護人材が理解できるように指導することは容易ではなく、指導者の文化的能力、即ち文化的コンピテンシーの強化が必要である。そこで本研究は4段階の研究を行う。
