Outline of Research at the Start	近年，“呼吸筋”機能の低下を来した状態である呼吸サルコペニアという概念が注目されている．肺癌手術予定の患者に対してこれまで十分に評価されていなかった“呼吸筋”機能を a)横隔膜筋厚の測定、及び b) 最大吸気及び呼気口腔内圧の測定により評価し、呼吸サルコペニアが肺癌周術期に与える影響を検討し，周術期リハビリテーションの新たな治療ターゲットになり得るかを解明したいと考えている．本研究で呼吸サルコペニアに対する治療介入の必要性が示されれば，将来的に肺癌周術期における個別化リハビリテーションプログラムの構築への応用が期待できる．
