Outline of Research at the Start	関節リウマチに伴うサルコペニアは，高率に合併するも，いまだ有効な治療法が存在しない．サルコペニア治療の核心は運動と栄養補充であるが，前者は関節破壊を悪化させる危険があり，後者は関連するデータが僅少である．われわれは，これまでに基礎実験を行い，骨格筋電気刺激が安全性と効率性を兼ね備えた治療法であることを確認した．本研究では，本手法をin vivoから臨床現場に応用し有効性検証を行うとともに，食事・栄養摂取状況の課題をピックアップする．
