Outline of Research at the Start

変形性膝関節症者(膝OA)における膝周囲筋群の過度な筋同時収縮は，関節変性を助長する異常負荷要因となる．そのため，関節変性が軽度な膝OAは，過度な筋同時収縮を抑制できれば症状の進行を予防できる．これまでの研究で，膝OA歩行中の過度な筋同時収縮は下肢筋全体に及ぶため，全身運動の代表値である身体重心(Center of Mass: CoM)の正常からの逸脱を下肢筋全体で代償している可能性がある．そこで，本研究では，運動制御の観点から，膝OA歩行中のCoM運動を制御する筋活動メカニズムを特定する．軽度膝OAの筋同時収縮の発生要因をCoM運動の異常性から解明する．
