Outline of Research at the Start

腹部臓器のがんで手術を受けかつ周術期リハビリテーションを受ける患者の手術前後の筋力・身体機能の臨床的に有意な変化量を推定することを目的とする。
臨床的に有意な変化量の算出には、アンカー法と分布法を用いる。アンカー法は、健康関連QoLや退院後の再入院の有無、術後合併症など患者にとって重要なアウトカムを基準にこれを推定する方法であり、分布法は筋力や身体機能の結果がどの程度ばらついているかに基づいてこれを推定する方法である。
これにより、手術前後で筋力や身体機能がどの程度変化すれば臨床的に有意であるかを判定する目安を提供でき、患者の目標設定や介入効果の判定に活用することができる。
