Outline of Research at the Start

国内外の小学生スポーツにおいては、競技への過剰な専門化によるバーンアウトなどが問題視されている。そこで近年、大会へ望む指導者の態度が着目され、国内外において全国小学生大会が廃止あるいは実施形式が変更されている。しかし、改革の背景や具体的な理念は明らかになっておらず、小学生スポーツを取り巻く環境に大きな変化はないのが現状である。そこで本研究では、日本、ドイツ、オランダ、ノルウェーを対象に、小学生年代における選手育成の理念とそれを実現する大会実施形式について明らかにすることを目的とする。本目的の達成により、現場の指導者や中央競技団体に役立つ具体的な大会実施形式の提示に資する知見が得られると考える。
